Little Wonder began with a single product in 1922, a hand-cranked hedge trimmer that featured high-carbon steel blades that were individually flattened by skilled craftsmen - the best way to produce superior blades. More than 80 years later, the tradition of quality upon which Little Wonder was founded is still the guiding principle of the company. Much of the company's growth has been the result of an ever-expanding Little Wonder product line. Little Wonder introduced edgers in the early 1960's and power blowers in the late 1960's. Little Wonder manufactured the first small tiller, the Mantis Tiller, which created the "Mini-Tiller Market".
Also impressive is the list of world-famous places where Little Wonder equipment is regularly used. The groundskeepers at the White House use Little Wonder Electric Hedge Trimmers. So do the landscaping staffs at Disneyland and at the Eiffel Tower grounds in Paris. The landscaping contractor chosen to prepare the Olympic Village for the 1996 Summer Games in Atlanta used a Little Wonder Petrol Hedge Trimmer and Little Wonder Hand-Held Blower.
